PC gamers will definitely enjoy this as an upcoming gaming event will arrive this October.
The Pinoy Gaming Festival will be held at the Cyberzone, SM Annex, North EDSA on October 28 to 30, 2011.
There will be tournaments for Starcraft 2 and Defense of The Ancients (DoTA) where the winners will represent the country at the World Cyber Games (for Starcraft 2) and Sendi Mutiara Multimedia (SMM) (for DoTA)
There is also a Planking Competition where participants can win up to PhP 30,000 worth of prizes, a Cosplay Contest will also be held with Alodia Gosiengfiao as guest.

Aside from DOTA and Starcraft 2, would this event also host competitions from games like Marvel vs. Capcom or any significant fighting games available for the PS3 or Xbox 360?
That I still have no confirmation, but I’ll make an update if there will be any tournament for the fighting games on the consoles *crosses finger on MVC3*
