BioWare Producer Promises ‘Closure’ to the ending of Mass Effect 3

If you’ve been following and if you’ve completed Mass Effect 3, you would be aware about fans raging on the ending of the game. Casey Hudson, producer of Mass Effect 3, recently made an announcement addressing the discussions and issues surrounding the ending of the game.

She says that though they initially intended that “the scale of the conflict and the underlying theme of sacrifice would lead to a bittersweet ending—to do otherwise would betray the agonizing decisions Shepard had to make along the way” and “we wanted to give players the chance to experience an inspiring and uplifting ending; in a story where you face a hopeless struggle for basic survival, we see the final moments and imagery as offering victory and hope in the context of sacrifice and reflection.”

she also stresses that Mass Effect 3 is “a shared experience between the development team and our fans—not just a shared experience in playing the games, but in designing and developing them.”

With it she promises that the team will be supporting Mass Effect 3 through DLCs next year, in an effort to totally bring into conclusion a lot of issues and a lot of loose ends in the story, to finally bring closure to everyone who had made huge decisions in the game. To quote, “Throughout the next year, we will support Mass Effect 3 by working on new  content.  And we’ll keep listening, because your insights and constructive feedback will help determine what that content should be. This is not the last you’ll hear of Commander Shepard.”

Fans of the longtime game Ragnarok Online (RO) have been waiting for the game for years for the game’s sequel, Ragnarok Online 2 (RO2). The game was announced for CBT in 2006 and through OBT up until 2010, for a span of almost 4 years. First RO2, subtitled Gate of the World, was scrapped in July 2010, due to being laden with game-breaking bugs and poor initial reception.

The game returns with its second remake. Subtitled “Legend of the Second”, it retains most of the original game systems in the original RO, while rendering everything in full 3D. It comes in with the original first classes (Swordsman, Archer, Thief, Acolyte, Magician) and second classes (Knight, Warrior, Rogue, Assassin, Ranger, Beast Master, Priest, Monk, Wizard and Sorcerer) along with a second type of classes (Alchemist, Artisan, Chef and Blacksmith) that the players can trigger in order for them to earn money.

The game is now in OBT, which is still in Korean. There is an english patch here. You’ll need a KSSN for an account.
