Final Fantasy XIII Joins the PC Master Race

Yep, you heard that right, Final Fantasy XIII is now heading to the PC

It was revealed that Final Fantasy XIII will be available for both PC and tablets (yes, you heard that right again, via streaming service in Japan). the PC version will be available this spring (starting with FF XIII this October  for only $16, you can now pre-order at Steam to get a 10% discount.

But Final Fantasy XIII is not the only game to ported, the whole FFXIII trilogy (including XIII-2 nad Lightning Returns) will be given a master race treatment. This is not the first time a Final Fantasy game (not including the MMOs XI and XIV), as Final Fantasy VII and VIII were ported to the PC which was distributed by Electronic Arts.

  • OS: Windows XP SP2 or later
  • Processor: 2GHz Dual Core CPU
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce 8 Series/ ATI Radeon HD 2000 series VRAM 256MB or later
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Sound card compatible with DirectX 9.0c

Recommended Requirements:

  • OS: Windows Vista/ 7/ 8
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad (2.66 GHz)/ AMD Phenom II X4 (2.8 GHz) processor
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460/ ATI Radeon HD 5870
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card: DirectX 11 compatible sound card
