Looks like we’ll have to wait for 1 more year before taking on the role of Nathan Drake again.
In a blogpost by Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, directors of the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End project, via the official Playstation blog, it was revealed that the next installment to the Uncharted game franchise will be delayed up to spring of 2016. Naughty Dog states that the reason for the delay is to “make certain that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End not only meets the (development) team’s high standards but the high standards that gamers have come to expect from a Naughty Dog title”. Druckmann and Straley says that the decision of delaying the release date is a difficult choice for Naughty Dog but promises that the player and Nate are in for one thrilling, emotional ride.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is said to be the most climactic chapter of Nathan Drake’s adventures, and described as a project more ambitious than what Naughty Dog has previously envisioned. Uncharted 4 is currently an exclusive title for the Playstation 4 platform.
