It’s time to give our local fighting game community the spotlight they deserve.

The Manila Cup will be the first major fighting game tournament that is officially approved by Capcom, and it will be held at the Imperium e-Sports Bar & Video Game Lounge on September 4 to 6, 2015.

The event will feature the Official Capcom Pro Tour ranking tournament for Ultra Street Fighter IV where players can earn CPT points for a chance to participate in the Asia Grand Finals. Other games including Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, Smash Bros. for Wii U, Mortal Kombat X and Blazblue Chrono Phantasma Extend will have their own series of tournaments.

Here is the schedule for the tournaments at the Manila Cup:

• Sept. 4 – 5pm onwards – Smash, MKX, BBCPEX
• Sept. 5 – 11am – UMVC3, GGXrd, USF4, Smash Top 4
• Sept. 6 – Top 8 for BB, GG, MKX, UMVC3, USF4

Manila Cup is an official Capcom event and co presented by BEast of the East
