If you’re a Gunpla fanatic or into Plastic Model (Plamo) toys, there’s a certain shop in the Philippines that can help turn your ordinary model kits into something unique— Plamo Attack Studio Custom Collectibles located along Timog Avenue in Quezon City is a shop that specializes in building your model kits worthy of being locked safely behind a glass case or even entered in serious competition!

When you find that your standard model kits or already-built plamo could be better with a different color, weathering (the paint technique to enhance the surface details of the model) or even create dramatic effects (such as making it look rusty, battle-worn, glossy, etc.), these are just some of the artistic services Plamo Attack Studio provides.

All customization requests come with a price of course. The cheapest fee they can charge you is at P2,000 where you can have your Gunpla HG kit (1/144 scale) or P 3,500 for the MG kit (1/100 scale) build and painted by pro’s! A request to customize an MG kit (1/100 scale) would start at P5,000 while Perfect Grades (1/60 scale) would start at a whopping P10,000. From there, the price would increase all according to how detailed or customized you envision your kit’s final output to become. To be clear, the job fee does not include the basic model kit but all the materials (paint and tools) along with the creativity, time and professional detailing to done is what’s being paid for—and they do not come easy nor should cost cheap.

The shop not only customizes but engages with fellow enthusiasts who may need pro advice on how to customize their own models. They also sell kits, paints and the tools you need, as well as finished plamo creations that are just awesome to look at. If you have money to burn and want to take your plamo kits to the next level, these guys can definitely help customize for you!
