We had a special opportunity in attending Bandai Namco’s product update presentation, where they reveal some of the games that are slated for a 2016 release. Though some may have b een announced at E3, new footage were shown to reveal some of the new features in each game. Here are the games that were revealed.

God Eater Resurrection & God Eater 2 Rage Burst

The big surprise for everyone as God Eater is finally heading to the PlayStation 4 and Vita. Being teased for the past few days, it has been confirmed that both God Eater & God Eater 2 will be available on Southeast Asia with English localization. The game features multiplayer cooperative action gameplay where you are pitted against massive creatures known as Aragami. No details were mentioned if both games will be available as a bundle or must be purchased separately. Expect these games to be available in Summer 2016.

The next chapter of the Tales of series focusing for the first time on the lead female protagonist. The story focuses on Velvet, who was once a gentle nature now has become a person with rage and anger. Berseria will feature a whole new world to explore and a new cast of characters, including a young boy named Laphicet. Tales of Berseria will be available for the PlayStation 4 and PC.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven

Based on the popular manga now turned anime, Eyes of Heaven is the newest JoJo’s game from Bandai Namco. Now featuring a 2 versus 2 battle system where players can also roam around the battle area. For the first time, the Gundam Extreme Vs series is getting an English version, and is heading to the PlayStation Vita. Featuring the classic 2-on-2 match ups either in single player or multiplayer in local or online. A new Force mode introduces a 6-member team that lets you complete missions and assign commands to specific members. Extreme Vs Force is heading for a February 2016 release.

Aside from the four games, some of the recently announced games were mentioned, including Dark Souls 3 (PS4, Xbox One, PC) where Southeast Asian gamers will be getting two special edition bundles and will be available on April 12, Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (PS4, Xbox One, PC) has a playable demo ready and a Day One DLC bundle which will launch on Feburary 5, Tekken 7 where it introduces Akuma from Street Fighter as a secret character (though Bandai remains mum whether Akuma’s involvement has any relation to the game’s story plot), plus a hint of a console release but no mention on when it will arrive. One Piece: Burning Blood where it now shifts into a fighting game which will be handled by Spike Chunsoft and will be available June 2016, Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom that showcases Level-5’s incredible visuals and characters and Ace Combat 7 where a cinematic trailer was revealed to be in-game footage and will run on an Unreal Engine.
