Sony’s answer to Vive and Rift will look to feature more games during its release.
Revealed at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show by Sony’s CEO Kazuo Hirai, the upcoming PlayStation VR will look to have 100 or more titles at the ready. Hirai states that over 200 developers have signed up for the PlayStation VR which Sony considers as a proof to the community’s support regarding creating content for the platform.
The competition will look to become tougher for Sony with the recent release of the Oculus Rift consumer version and with the joint development of HTC and Valve for their VR device named the Vive. The Sony PlayStation VR is slated to release this first half of 2016.
