Check out how the fighting game community celebrates the launch of the newest game from the most popular fighting game series.

Street Fighter V was being anticipated by the entire fighting game community, promising new game systems and returning some of the popular casts. PlayStation Asia held a pre-launch event at Nommu Japanese Bar and Resto in Metrowalk last February 12 where they invited some of the FG communities and a handful of media people to witness the launch of the biggest fighting game.

Hosted by 99.5 PlayFM DJ and fighting game enthusiast Billy and Actress/cosplayer Myrtle Sarrosa, the event featured a mini tournament and a special appearance by pro player and EVO 2013 Street Fighter IV champion RZR Xian where he challenges some players in exhibition matches and shared some advise on improving their skills in Street Fighter V.

It was an awesome event for everyone who into fighting games, we look forward for more community-based events from PlayStation and from the community.
