One of the biggest annual celebration of Plamos and Hobby kits,the All Japan Model Hobby Show is currently taking place Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo and will run until September 25, 2016. Of course not to be left out is one of Japan’s most famous Plamo product, and perhaps what we can consider as their most precious gift to toy collectors and that is Gunpla.
Modeled after revolutionary Gundam franchise which set the tone for the Real Robot genre, Gunplas have their roots traced back in the 1980s, following the release of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam and has improved in quality ever since, with nearly over a thousand kits released to date depicting mechas from different Gundam shows.
Today, at the 56th All Japan Model Hobby Show, Bandai, the main manufacturer of Gunpla kits, showcases their upcoming lineup of Gunpla kit which include models for the High Grade (1/144 scale), Real Grade (more detailed 1/144 scale) and Master Grade (1/100 scale) lineups which are sure to either, please fans or make them wish that they had more than enough, both in time and money, to collect and assemble them all.
