Square-Enix has announced that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX will be coming to the PS4 early next year.

Like the title implies, it is a PS4 port of both Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and of 2.5, containing 4 fully playable games and two nearly 3 hour movies for the remaining entries, ensuring that the entire series, short the iOS title Kingdom Hearts X (pronounced “Chi”) is playable on the Sony platform.

And beyond the ability to play or watch the majority of the 15 year franchise on one disk, the main appeal is that the collection of collections will boast a 60 Frame per second framerate, according to this tweet made on the official twitter for the series, as well as hopefully solving some of the load time issues some of the ports had on the PS3, particularly for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep.
