Just when you thought you can’t get enough Unicorn

Last week on Mecha Fridays, we’ve got a tease of the upcoming Real Grade 1/144 variant of the RX-0 Gundam Unicorn, this week, we get new images of the upcoming kit, showing both the Unicorn and Destroy Modes which was on display at the Japan Hobby Show 2017, which took place late last month.

In addition to the 1/144 Real Grade version, and the upcoming 1:1 statue that will soon be adorning Tokyo presumably this Fall 2017, a 1/48 Mega Size variant of the RX-0 Unicorn is also revealed and is set for release this coming Aug 2017. In contrast to the Real Grade version though, it seems that the Mega Size version will only have the Destroy mode variant, or the one with the exposed psycoframe, available, albeit it does seem to have the near-amount of details when it comes to panel lines when compared to the Real Grade version.

Ka, Casval’s RX 78-2 Gundam ver 3.0, Crossbone Gundam ver. Ka, custom Zakus, a GN-X, a High Res variant of the Gundam Wing Zero EW version, and the Hamma-Hamma.

While, of course, High Grades are not left out in Japan Hobby Show, with the lot of them coming from the GBF line, perhaps the 2 kits that stole the attention of many would be the prototype models for the Hyper Gyanko and the Chinagguy, which, well the MS Girl versions of characters Kaoruko Sazaki and China Kousaka from the GBF franchise, pretty much similar to Fumina Hoshino’s Super Fumina MS. Both kits are still on tentative status when it comes to names and perhaps the final model design, however both are coming out later this year with the Chinagguy to be out first on July, followed by the Gyanko this August, with the Chinagguy priced at JPY 2,376 and the Hyper Gyanko at JPY 2,592
