Included in the event were cosplay competitions, band performances, art contests and let’s not forget merchandise sales. Also famous Pinoy Comic artists showed up in the event such as Pol Medina (Pugad Babuy), Carlo Vergara (Zsa Zsa Zaturna) and many others. A lot of merchandises are up for sale in the event, from novelty items to action figures to anime apparels, and all of them are in a very special discounted price.

In the world of online gaming, some of the known gaming companies showed up and promoted their new games such as Level Up! and E-Games, but one new comer made a big impact during the Manga Mania event: enter Cubizone. Their gaming booth drew alot of attending to the on-goers with their goregeous cosplay models (epic win!) that even attracted a nearby gaming company rival (LOL). For those who are not familiar with the new comer, Cubizone is one of the fastest growing gaming portal in Malayasia and is now starting to spread across Asia which includes the Philippines. Some of their games include Casvian (web browsing strategy game similar to Heroes of Might and Magic), Red Cliff
(MMO based on the Three Kingdoms story).

There’s also a booth were Left 4 Dead 2 was being demoed and on-goers can play test the newly released game. Relive all the zombie killing moments in this much awaited sequel.

the two day event was a blast and I’ll be looking forward for the next Mangaholix Manga Mania next year…’till next time gamers
