Cubinet Philippines has concluded the Close Beta Test for their newest MMORPG Forsaken World. While they are preparing for the launch of the Open Beta Test, we managed to have a chat with Brand Manager Kail Fajardo to talk about Forsaken World and its upcoming plans for the game.

Can you tell us more about Forsaken World?
Kail Fajardo: Forsaken World is a 3D MMORPG developed by Perfect World Beijing.
It’s set in the land of Eyrda, where the great wars left the gods trapped; unable to reach Eyrda’s residents. The five races of Eyrda, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Myrmidon and Kindred must now deal with the aftermath of the great wars and the upcoming threat of the Storm Legion.

So what makes this game different from the other MMORPGS?
Kail: Personally speaking, this is the first MMORPG that features a vampire class so openly. It also offers features you usually see from pay to play games. My favorite being the dungeon registration system where you
won’t need to wait in front of a dungeon entrance and look for party members in order to get in an instance and finish your quests.

I’ve heard that FW is designed more for the western players or thos who enjoy playing World of Warcraft, will this game be able to attract the Pinoy gamers?
Kail: So far, we’ve had lots of positive feedback regarding the game’s genre; the game is well accepted amongst Filipino gamers.

Since the Close Beta Test is finally over, what are your plans for your FW players for this upcoming Open Beta Test?
Kail: Eversince CBT started, we’ve received lots of player feedback. We’ve lined up what to prioritize and our priority right now is improving the network connection between the player and the server.

Are there any changes to the game in the upcoming Open Beta Test?
Kail: Yes. In fact, the level cap will be raised to 59, three new maps will be opened to public: Lunar Silva (Level 40+), Bleak Woods (Level 50+) and Hazy Lands (Level 50+), new monsters, dungeons and daily events. The item mall will also be open when OBT comes.

With more and more MMORPS being released in the Philippines, do you think FW will be able to grabe the Pinoy gamer’s attention?
Kail: Of course. Forsaken World PH offers solid gameplay and depth, rich graphics and lots of game lore to read. Forsaken World can also run on a wide range of system specs (depening on the ghraphics settings). A lot of people will find a lot to like in this game.

Are there anything you would like to say to your loyal FW gamers?
Kail: First of all, we’d like to thank our players. Please know that we’re always working to provide you with the best gaming experience possible. We’re thankful for your feedback and encourage more of your feedback so
we know what our community thinks and how we can further improve Forsaken World PH for you.
