Cosplay.ph, one of the leading cosplay website and online community in the country, held a press conference last August 31,2011 at the Eurotel Hotel North EDSA to promote their upcoming big event Cosplay Mania ’11 which will be on October 1 & 2, 2011 at the SMX Convention Center.

Cosplay Mania all started last 2008  as a one-day event at the Megatrade Hall 3 at the SM Megamall and every year they expanded their space and offered more activities, and on their third event, they dubbed the event as Cosplay Mania X in celebration of ten years of Philippine cosplay and a mark of a new venue which was in the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex. Now for the upcoming Cosplay Mania ’11, they will be using 3 function rooms which span a total of 5,200 square meters, a biggest so far in an Anime/Gaming event. Also, their theme for Cosplay Mania ’11 will be “Epic” , hence having a very large venue and a lot of activities and booths for the otakus and gamers and cosplay enthusiasts.

Another good thing with Cosplay Mania ’11 is that the team managed to strengthen their partnership with different sponsors, both in local and international to ensure that Cosplay Mania ’11 will be one epic event, this include: Anime Festival Asia ’11, Animax, Cosplay Gen, Guidebook, Crypton  Future Media, Bandai and Hobby Search as well as Eurotel.
