Cosplayers and anime/gaming fans gathered once again for one massive event at the Cosplay Mania 2011 which was held last October 1 and 2, 2011 at the SMX Convention Center. The event was organized by Cosplay.ph

So far this is the biggest event, which spanned more than 5000 square meter of space for the event, which composed of three rooms: the first one (Free Hall) was at the main entrance of the event, where cosplayers and photographers can do some photoshoots in the area. The second room (Fiesta Hall) is composed of different booths from merchandises of different anime inspired apparels, figures to gaming booths of console games. And the third room (Stage Hall) is where the big stage was hooked up for most of the major activities in the event.

And of course let’s not forget the main attraction of the event; the cosplayers, a lot of cosplayers were present at the event, spanning more than 400 that attended the 2-day event. There were guest international cosplayers at Cosplay Mania, namely Clive Lee, Pinky Lu Xun, YukiGodlbess and JiakiDarkness.

The individual cosplay competition was held on the first day, although we were not present on that day, we got the list of the winners from the competition (credits to magnetic-rose.net)

The event was a blast despite the strict security protocols to the attendees and the venue was already jam packed in the afternoon. I’d like to thank the organizers of Cosplay Mania for the opportunity to cover the event. Until the next Cosplay Mania event next year.
