DSLR technologies progress with each passing day. Professional photographers or amateurs can easily access the powerful single lens and high-speed memory cards and enjoy the advanced functions, including HD 1080p recording or ultra-speed burst shooting. However, when it comes to transmission of large numbers of files by the computer, it is rather annoying to wait for a long time. To save the photographers’ valuable time, Apacer launches  ultra-high speed card-reader with, in full support of the mainstream memory cards, and ultra-high speed memory cards such as SDHC UHS-I, SDXC UHS-I or CF UDMA6/7. Hence, the professional memory cards with ultimate speed of over 100 MB/s can fully display their read/write capabilities and realize the transmission of files instantaneously! AM530 adopts compact and streamline design with nice combination of gilding brown and simple black, presenting the urban fashion with consummate elegance.

Apacer indicated that, thanks to the prevalence of DSLR cameras, everyone can get a powerful single lens camera and high-speed memory cards very easily, but is often apt to overlook the most indispensable apparatus, the card-reader. The high capacity of DSLR photos and HD videotape may result in a high-capacity memory card being fully occupied in a one-day tour. Failure of the card-reader in supporting the high-speed memory card may bring about much time wasted in transmission.

“If a high-speed memory card is purchased at a high price but is used with USB 2.0 card- reader, it is quite in the same way as the super sports car can not run at its super speed in lanes!”, Grace Lo, associated vice president of Apacer Commodity Business Unit said, “AM530 USB 3.0 card-reader with ultra-high speed is an indispensable apparatus to each photographer either in trendy appearance design or in interior ultimate-speed read/write capability.”

AM530 supports three advanced specifications: SDHC UHS-I, SDXC UHS-I and CF UDMA6/7. And it can be used directly without an adapter card. Thanks to the transmission bandwidth up to 5Gbps in USB 3.0, the high-speed memory cards can bring their transmission capabilities of 100MB/s into full play. It can be 3-5 times faster than the traditional USB 2.0 in terms of speed. Thus it can transmit a large number of files in a twinkling, saving much valuable time for the users.

AM530 provides 5 card-reader slots. It can fully support the mainstream memory card specifications: Compact Flash high-speed card, SD, SDHC, SDXC, Memory Stick Pro, Memory Stick Duo, microSD, M2 and xD and meantime is downward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. With a wide range of compatibilities, it can meet the diverse needs of the users. Built-in LED read/write light can indicate the read/write status clearly. Furthermore, its overall appearance is quite trendy with technical elements. Therefore, it is a necessary apparatus for the professional photographers and photographing talents.
