Sunrise will be making a special announcement on March 20,2014.

They will be revealing a brand new Gundam series on that day, no news on whether this will be a continuation to the widely popular Universal Century timeline or a new original timeline. Last year it was announced that Sunrise will be creating an anime adaptation to the Gundam: The Origin manga, which supposed to be released around 2014 or 2015 in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Gundam franchise.

Another speculation was the upcoming project by series creator Yoshiyuki Tomino where he will be collaborating with the Amercian special effects studio Legacy Effects which will also be released for the 35th anniversary.
