In just a few days, the gaming’s biggest show will be unleashing a ton of game line ups and surprises. So what should you expect to see this year?

The four-day event will be showcasing some of the most anticipated and unannounced titles and the newest hardest that you should expect to arrive this year and beyond. So we listed some of things that might happen or not happen on the Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3.

The Big Three’s Plans

We already saw Sony’s Project Morpheus on GDC 2014 and it garnered great receptions, so we will probably be hearing some in-depth info about the virtual reality headset as well as some supported games on their press conference. As for their software line-up, we will be getting more news about Uncharted 4 then also new gameplay footage of The Order: 1886, Destiny and Driveclub as well as the rumored next God of War game then we can expect more indie games showcasing on the Vita and PS4, plus some news for their game streaming service PS Now. You could hopefully see some of the last batch of games for the PlayStation 3. The no show would be of course The Last Guardian, but we can hope that they make a special announcement about the game and sadly, Square-Enix will not be showcasing about Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts 3 on E3.

E3 2013: a preview of Forza Motorsport 5 for Microsoft's Xbox One

For Microsoft, they might be focusing on their game line-ups, much importantly with Halo as their main attraction. They will be showcasing a CG trailer for Halo 5: Guardians and we could get some updates about their Halo TV series, then some trailers for Fable Legends, Quantum Break and Forza Horizon 2, let’s not forget for the successful Titanfall launch, they might announce a new set of DLC coming out this year. We can also guess that a new Gears of War game will be announced. We are rooting for some franchise revivals this year, can we hope for Beyond Good & Evil? or maybe a new Conkers game? Also let’s not forget the rumored VR headset of Microsoft, it could be make its debut on E3.

Finally for Nintendo’s turn, all hope is still not lost for the Italian Plumber’s company. Despite continuing the online presentation from last year, we can expect some announcements of new titles, hopefully a new Zelda game for the Wii U (aside from the Hyrule Warriors game) and a new Advance Wars game perhaps? Or maybe more info on Monolith Software’s X. Aside from expecting new titles to be announced, Nintendo will be showcasing more on Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS and Wii U, then probably more info about Bayonetta 2, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire & Omega Ruby. We can also see some news of  upcoming DS and even Gamecube titles releasing to the Virtual Console on Wii U.

The Third-parties are Rallying

dragon age

Of course the third party companies that will be showing off at E3 for their upcoming titles.

We will be expecting more trailers and previews for Dragon Age: Inquisition, The Sims 4 and a major announcement for Battlefield: Hardline from EA, plus some teaser trailer from Star Wars: Battlefront and the next chapter of Mass Effect, and not to mention some tidbits for Mirror’s Edge 2.

Ubisoft will be revealing more info on the French Revolution focused Assassin’s Creed: Unity and also Tom Clancy’s The Division which made a great impression to everyone last year. But that’s not all, we are also hoping for more about Farcry 4.

Capcom will be shedding more light on Deep Down, and hopefully a Megaman game, Activision will be showcasing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Bethesda for Dishonored II, though Fallout 4 might have a possible hint for this year.

Rocksteady Studios will feature Batman: Arkham Knight which was delayed to a 2015 release and NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat X.

The Master Race is Also Ready

PC gaming is also getting some surprises.

We can expect new updates from Valve for their Steam Machines and even the Oculus Rift could showcase their first-party games. Rockstar Games could finally reveal Grand Theft Auto V for the PC and we know The Witcher: Wild Hunt from CD Projekt will be making shockwaves.

Hyper-Light-Drifter

And let’s not forget the indies, we can expect a lot of potential best sellers from the indie developers such as Hyper Light Drifter by Alex Preston, Below by Capy Games, The Long Dark by Hinterland Games, Nuclear Throne from Vlambeer and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number by Dennis Wedin.

But of course, things can change on the event day itself, some may make it, some might just stay on our wishlist. We will soon find out once E3 is open on June 10 to 12, 2014.
