Toycon 2014 Battle Arena

We will be having our second Battle Arena event on Toycon 2014.

Reimaru Files will once again be partnering with Back2Gaming and also with 99.5 PlayFM to bring you the second Battle Arena. Get ready for awesome console gaming and fighting game tournaments at Toycon 2014, we will be present for the entire event from June 20 to 22, 2014 at the Megatrade Halls 1-3 in SM Megamall.

Here is the list of activities that you can expect on Battle Arena:

  • Day 1: Free play 
  • Day 2: Free play and Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost tournament
  • Day 3: Free play and Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 tournament UPDATE: J-Stars Victory Vs tournament: Cosplayer Edition 

 

How to register for the tournaments:

Registration for the tournament will be on-site, ask one of our staff about the registration. Cut-off time will be 2PM for the specific tournament, the event will start on 3PM, all registered participants must be present at the booth 15 minutes before the tournament time. Otherwise those who are not present at their scheduled match will be forfeited.

Participants can pre-register at the booth on Day 1 and Day 2(if participating for UMVC3), but they have to make sure that they are present at the tournament, proxies are not allowed.

Oh and by the way, there is NO REGISTRATION FEE, just drop by and registration then show up at the tournament.

Tournament Details

gundam extreme

Gundam Extreme Vs. Full Boost (PS3)

  • 1 vs 1 format
  • Single Elimination
  • All matches will be  best of 3 games
  • Finals will be  best of 5 games
  • Round Time: 210 seconds
  • Stage Match: Side 7 map
  • Winner cannot change character but can change Burst Type
  • Loser can change character and Burst Type
  • No game breaking exploits, bugs or anything that will cause the game to crash
  • No DLC characters allowed

 

Grand Prize:  1/144 HG Gundam Wing Zero
Runner-up Prize: SD Build Strike Gundam

  • Single Elimination
  • Elimination match
  • Top 8 contenders will have best of 3 games
  • Finals will be best of 5 games
  • Loser can switch a new team and order
  • No Game breaking glitches allowed
  • No DLC Characters
  • Galactus is not Allowed
  • Pausing a game will forfeit the match unless opponent chooses to waive

Aside from the tournaments and free play sessions, we will be showcasing game trailers fresh from the recent E3 2014 as well as some of the Aftermath Videos of Reimaru Files.

Also we will be giving freebies to those who visited early on our booth, those who cosplay as video game characters will also be given a special freebie when they drop by at the booth. Be sure to show up early as we only have limited amount of freebies.

If you are a 3DS user, you can get some free StreetPass tags from the booth, just drop by and say hi.

So be sure to drop by at our booth  on June 20 to 22, 2014 at Toycon 2014.
