The crowd anticipated (and crowd funded) side scroller now enters porting stage and is set to be released very soon.

Together with a New Year’s Greeting Video by Might No. 9 creator Keiji Inafune, a quick footage of the game, which is loosely based on Inafune’s other monumental creation, Mega Man, is shown to viewers, together with an update saying that “the game is pretty much finished”.

First announced in 2013 by Inafune and his team in the Penny Arcade Expo, Mighty No. 9 had its fundings via Kickstarter and received a generous amount of support from fans, with the minimum target reached just 2 days after the start date of its campaign. Now, Mighty No. 9 is entering the porting stage, and will be hopefully released very soon on PC, Wii U, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo 3DS, Linux and OS X releases are also planned although there are no updates yet as if these 2 platform ports are slated for this year.
