Yup, you heard that right, Android is the new Master Race now.

NVIDIA takes mobile gaming to a whole new level, with their recent reveal of the latest version of the NVIDIA Shield device. Powered by their Tegra X1 GPU, the mobile home console running on Android is fully capable of supporting up to 4K game resolutions at 60Hz. 50 Android Games will be curated once the new Shield is released, and to add to that is the very own Shield Store. PC games like Crysis 3 can be played in the NVIDIA Shield through the Grid Streaming Service which would have you connect to an Android TV.Ā  Other supported games that are shown in the demo during the announcement at GDC 2015 include Portal, Half Life 2: Episode 1, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

The latest NVIDIAĀ  Shield will be released this coming May 2015 and will come in a hefty price of $199.

    Just to clear things up, the Shield is capable of streaming Crysis 3, not running it.
