Giada, the industry leader in Mini PC, embedded systems and expert of Small & Medium Enterprise servers, has officially announced the newest addition to their high-end range of motherboards-the MG-5200SL. The extreme performance-driven MG-5200SL is built with Intel Broadwell Core i5-5200U CPU and supports dual core 4T processor clocked at 2.7 GHz. Compact dimensions, low power design, powerful 3D graphic performance, versatile dual display functions, multiple I/O and splendid security & management functions make MG-5200SL ideal for application such as digital signage, industrial control/automation, security/surveillance, financial institutions, public commuting, visual inspection instruments, and other performance-driven high-end video applications.

Digital signage can span from a single display to hundreds of signs. With its superior ability to target messages and get noticed, digital signage offers unparalleled opportunities to capture your audiences’ attention, inform your customers, build brands, and drive both sales and profitability. The MG-5200L supports up to 3840 × 2160 Ultra HD, multi-display and LVDS, providing an ideal all-round platform for digital signage applications.

The MG-5200SL, measuring 170 x 170 mm, adopts Mini-ITX form factor and supports dual channel DDR3 SO-DIMMs 1333/1600 MHz up to 16 GB system memory. This performance-driven motherboard is designed for long time operation with low maintenance required. The smart fan cooling system is built in durable brass heat pipe for maximum heat dissipation and operates at an extremely low voltage of 15W TDP. The MG-5200DSL provides ample I/O interfaces including 2 serial ports, 4 USB 2.0 and 2 USB 3.0 ports for peripheral connection, HDMI, DVI, LVDS, VGA, Realtek Gigabit LAN port, 2 SATAIII connectors, PCIe x16, Mini PCIe and 2 COM ports.

The built-in patented JAHC technology helps to optimize the power on/off behaviour and automation for digital signage systems. The MG-5200SL motherboard provides the latest JAHC hardware which enables remote access and system maintenance even when the system is turned off. The system automatically reconnects when connected to a power source after power cut, and can be scheduled to on/off mode when desired. The system also auto resets when it crashes, thus helping reduce system down time and idle power consumption.

The motherboard supports Windows 7, 8, 1 and Linux operating systems. In conclusion, the MG-5200SL is the ideal platform for intelligent digital signage systems.
