The Heroes of the Storm SEA regional open qualifier is now accepting signups! Take your first step toward the Heroes Global Championship and represent Southeast Asia at the upcoming Eastern Clash #1 in Shanghai, China.

The 64-team single elimination open bracket will take place on Feb 4-5 2017, with the Top 8 duking it out in a double elimination playoff on Feb 11-12. Players of all SEA nationalities and skill are welcome – the tournament is open to residents of Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia – and for the first time since Heroes of the Storm launched – Indonesia and Vietnam too. And yes, cross-country teams are allowed.

But why sign up? Only the top 8 teams from the first season’s SEA finals will be able to compete in the Season 2 playoffs, which will determine who will represent Southeast Asia at the Mid-Season Brawl at Dreamhack Summer. Of course, teams may only compete in Season 2 if they retail 3/5ths of their original roster*, so stick together, teams!

*Teams 9th to 16th will replace teams who disband or who have too large a roster change
