Heads up, Accel World VS Sword Art Online western release coming this July

A quick update from Bandai Namco Entertainment, the upcoming Action RPG, Accel World vs Sword Art Online is now slated for a July release, well, to be exact, this coming July 7, 2017.

A project that collaborates with the popular light novel series, Accel World, Accel World vs Sword Art Online will combine together iconic characters and storylines from both series such as Kirito, and Kuroyukihime.

Together with its upcoming US digital release for the PS4, a limited edition package which contains additional costumes and playable characters will be made available, particularly for those who pre-order the game online, namely the Ordinal Scale pack and the SAO Origins Pack, inclusions for each limited time DLCs will be as follows:

  • Ordinal Scale Pack
    • Yuna — Playable Character
    • Ordinal Scale Costumes
  • SAO Origins Pack
    • Sachi — Playable Character
    • GGO Avatar Costume — Kirito and Sinon
    • Knight of the Blood Oath Costume
    • Fairy Dance Avatar Costume — Kirito

Accel World vs Sword Art Online will be arriving both the PS4 and PS Vita platforms with the physical release happening this July 7, 2017 and the digital download release on July 10, 2017.
