Final Fantasy XV and Assassin’s Creed Teamed Up for the Assassin’s Festival DLC

If you thought that Square Enix is done with their wave of updates for Final Fantasy XV, there’s another reveal and this time they will be partnering with Ubisoft for their Assassin’s Creed franchise. Assassin’s Festival will be a free DLC in Final Fantasy XV for a limited time starting on August 31, 2017 to January 31, 2018.

Assassin’s Festival will feature some unique story that is set at the town of Lestallum, there will be new gameplay elements borrowed from the Assassin’s Creed franchise which includes new stealth kills, hiding and climbing. There will be a set of mini-games that you can try out at the festival as well as a unique costume called Medjay Assassin’s Robe that can be worn by the party. You can also unlock the Master Assassin’s Robe for Noctis that can be obtained from a Dream Egg, which is available at the Moogle Chocobo Festival that is happening right now and will end on late September.

The Assassin’s Festival DLC for Final Fantasy XV will be available on August 31 and you can download them on your PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.

 

UPDATE: A new image was uploaded by Ubisoft featuring another batch of collaboration work with Final Fantasy XV, and this time with their upcoming Assassin’s Creed Origins game. We might possibly hear more about it soon.
