Dauntless Goes Open Beta on May 24

Monster hunting fans might want to try this on the PC when it becomes available to the public.

The online co-op action game Dauntless will be moving to its open beta phase on May 24 after their long closed beta phase. According to the Dauntless website, there are more than 100,000 players that participated in the closed beta tests and more than 800,000 accounts have been registered for the beta test.

The game went a lot of changes during the CBT based on feedback from the players that participated in the test, and made a lot of improvements in which shifting to Open Beta was a big milestone for developer Phoenix Labs, in which they will be testing the performance and stability of the game with a large quantity of players participating.

However, for those who want to try out the game and cannot wait for the open beta on the 24th, players can purchase the Founder’s Pack, which starts at $40 and comes with free in-game items depending on which package was purchased.

Dauntless is an online game for the PC that focuses on hunting monsters and players can use their materials to craft weapons and armor. The game is rather inspired from Monster Hunter by Capcom, which their latest game; Monster Hunter World is expected to arrive for the PC in late 2018.
