MPGL Asian Championship 2018 Finals in Thailand to Feature Fundraiser

The top four teams decided through the regular season of the MPGL Asian Championship 2018 will be heading to the Digital Thailand Big Bang Roadshow 2018, Central Plaza Khon Kaen, Thailand for the final confrontation. Only one team will be deemed worthy to claim the MPGL Asian Championship 2018 crown after the four-team double elimination bracket over the three-day event.

MET, Asia’s number one esports event organizer, isn’t only committed to delivering only the best possible esports events, they are also committed to harnessing the raw potential of esports in order to benefit communities. MET has partnered with Twitch and Khon Kaen Government Organizations in order to work together towards the construction of the Cardiovascular Hybrid Operating Room, Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University.

Dota 2 fanatics will be able to enjoy the three-day live finals event featuring four of the best teams in the region. Attendance for the event is absolutely free and attendees are invited to donate to the charity in support of the event and the construction of the new Operating Room for the Queen Sirikit Heart Center of the Northeast. Interested donors can make personal donations to the paypal@kku.ac.th Paypal account with the description: “Sirikit Heart Center.” MET is also cooperating with the Digital Economy Promotion Agency and KKUs Queen Sikrit Heart Center of Khon Kaen University for the charity event.

The team that survives the grueling four-team double elimination bracket across three days will be crowned the MPGL Asian Champions for 2018. The winners will be taking home the grand cash prize of USD 40,000. All four teams competing in the grand finals will engaging in exciting matches not only to claim the title and cash prize but also to provide entertainment for people interested in donating to the involved charity.

The MPGL Asian Championship 2018 Finals will take place on July 6-8, 2018 at The Digital Thailand Big Bang Roadshow 2018, Central Plaza Khon Kaen, Thailand. Live streams of the entire event will be available in different languages to cater to a wider audience.
