One of the biggest gaming leagues in the world will make a presence in the Philippines and PLDT as well as Smart will become a part of it.

Happened last April 7 at the Museum Cafe, PLDT and Smart made their presence once again in the gaming scene with their support for the upcoming ESL One Manila, which is scheduled on April 23 and 24 at the SM Arena at the Mall of Asia complex. Also present at the press conference where Mineski, who is also part in organizing the event and local TV network TV5. The top executives of both companies and networks were also present at that time to promote ESL One Manila.

To show the support for the local esports scene, PLDT & Smart also invited the Mineski.Sports5 Team at the press con to give them support as they will be competing at the tournament for a chance to get the bigger slice from the $250,000 prize pool and the bragging rights as ESL One Champions. Both PLDT and Smart will have exclusive perks for their subscribers, such as tickets for the event and other swags that subscribers can bring home from the event. TV5 will make a big presence in the event as well, as they will be broadcasting the 2-day event at AksyonTV from 10 am to 10 pm and then the Grand Finals will be broadcasted live in primetime on TV5.
