While strolling at Robinsons Galleria, I just stumbled upon a small gathering at the said mall last June 25.

After taking a closer look, it was a gathering of tabletop game enthusiasts called Gaming Library Kickstart, I managed to chat with Hans Fernandez; one of the organizers and founder of Gaming Library; an online retailer of board games in the Philippines, and the purpose of the gaming meet is for tabletop gamers to gather and share a session of gaming and even meet new friends and at the same time, able to learn, from money managing in economic based games to quick thinking decisions in strategy games. They usually make small gatherings for the tabletop enthusiasts before and they are now getting bigger. The event was also partnered with the Open Gaming Meet group.

The gathering is open to anyone, from the young to the old, veteran tabletop gamers up to the newbies. The games ranges from party boards games, role-playing games, miniature wargames and many more.

Also, if you are looking for tabletop games at a cheaper price compared to some retailers, you can check out Gaming Library, you can visit their website at www.gaminglib.com, you can like their Facebook page to get the latest updates on the newest tabletop games.
