Otaku Expo is back for more activities and stuff for the otakus and gamers, the Otaku Expo 2011 was held last September 3 and 4 at the Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall. The event was co-presented by Cubizone Philippines and Yakult Philippines and was sponsored by PSICOM Publishing Inc., E-Games and Bankee Trading.

There were tons of activities in the two-day event, from Dance competitions from Cubizone PH to Battle of the Bands to BlazBlue tournaments and also let’s not forget the Cosplay competition.

For toy collectors, there is a showcase of figure collection from Onii-chan and a Gunpla building contest from Bankee Trading, the Ozine Maid Cafe is also available in the event so attendees can take a break from long hours of strolling in the event.

There are also merchandise booths from 2Rats, Comic Alley and many more. I was fortunate to become a guest judge for the Individual Cosplay Competition on the Sunday event; a first for me and it was a great experience.
