Event Aftermath: Collecticon 2011

It’s that time again for some figure/toy/collectible hunting as Collecticon 2011 was held last October 8-9, 2011 at the Robinson’s Midtown Mall.

And the best of the event is that, the admission is FREE!! Now on to the event happenings, spanning at around 1500 meters of space at the venue,  there are tons of merchandise ranging from old vintage toys up to the newly released figures.

There were also exhibits that showcase some of the collection from the Pinoy Toy Kolektors, Robot Collectors Haven and MechaPinoy community and also a photo exhibit from the entries of the PhoTOYgraphy contest. There were auctions and contests  and also panel discussions with collectors and hobbyist where they talked about how to start your toy/figure collection as well as how to craft/customize your own figures.
