Runic Games‘ sequel to their highly acclaimed action-RPG Torchlight is now available for pre-order despite having no schedule of the game release. You can now pre-order Torchlight 2 via Steam or Perfect World Entertainment, you will be able to get some bonus when pre-ordering.

When pre-ordering at Steam (priced at $19.99), you will get a free copy of the original Torchlight game. Steam also has the four-pack package; buy three copies of Torchlight 2 for only $59.99 and get the fourth copy for free.

In Perfect World Entertainment, getting a pre-order gives you a close beta key to Neverwinter; Cryptic’s Dungeons and Dragons Co-Op RPG.

Runic Games is preparing to release Torchlight 2 a month or so after the release date of Diablo 3 to avoid comparing Torchlight 2 as a “cheap alternative Diablo clone”. But judging from the game itself, it managed to stand up as an equal adversary to the much popular action-RPG as Torchlight offers some features the fans always loved that Diablo 3 had removed; “offline” singleplayer campaign and LAN connectivity for multiplayer.
