Could this lead to Tri-Ace focusing more on developing mobile games?

Game Developer Tri-Ace, the team behind classic RPGs such as the Star Ocean series and Valkyrie Profile is now a subsidiary company of Nepuro Japan that specializes in developing mobile games in Japan. The source was based on the press release provided by Nepuro Japan (press release translation can be found in the NeoGAF thread)

The said mobile company aims to focus more in creating more mobile games with the help from Tri-Ace to strengthen their line up in the mobile game market.

With the news of the purchase, we won’t be seeing a new Tri-Ace game in the consoles but let’s hope they might consider creating games for handheld consoles.
