A new Resident Evil CG movie is coming out next year

The final chapter to Mila Jovovich’s Zombie extravaganza is not the only Resident Evil movie coming out next year as Capcom reveals a new CG Movie based on the Resident Evil video game franchise, titled Resident Evil: Vendetta, slated for Spring 2017.

Starring the iconic D.S.O. Agent Leon Scott Kennedy, RE:Vendetta will be directed by Takanori Tsujimoto, who is known for his work on films such as Kill, Hard Revenge, Milly and The Women of Fastfood, in addition to Tsujimoto, Takashi Shimizu of the The Grudge series will be at the helm the film’s production, Ghost in the Shell‘s Kenji Kawai will set the tone of the musical score.

Resident Evil: Vendetta is also called BIOHAZARD Vendetta in Japan and will initially be out for the Japanese audience this Spring 2017 with a global release to hopefully follow soon after.
