You’ve got a friend in me.

Looks like the Pixar’s biggest franchises will be making it to Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts after all as new footage from the game confirms that worlds from Big Hero 6, Tangled, and the forever classic, Toy Story, will be included in Sora, Donald, and Goofy’s new, upcoming adventure that is the game Kingdom Hearts III.

Revealed earlier today at Disney’s D23 Expo, the inclusion of Toy Story and Big Hero 6 in KHIII looked to be gaming’s biggest news this month, considering the amount of time that the fans have waited for any solid update from Disney and Square Enix regarding the state of the game after it was first conceptualized back in 2006. The iconic game franchise has its roots traced back in 2002 when it was first released for the PlayStation 2, and has spanned multiple platforms including Mobile Phones, Handhelds, and even the PC. The game is also well known for mashing together characters and worlds from both Square Enix’s and Disney’s biggest and memorable franchises, such as Final Fantasy, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Tarzan, and Pinocchio, with characters like Donald Duck, Goofy and Mickey Mouse making constant appearances in the game throughout its whole existence.

Kingdom Hearts III will hopefully release this 2018, and in the meantime, let’s just all enjoy this glorious new trailer, featuring Woody and Buzz Lightyear, together with Sora, Donald, and Goofy.
