The Filipino yeah?

The Japanese animation hit that took the whole world by storm and now the record holder for Top Grossing Anime film, surpassing Hayao Miyazaki’s Spirited Away, Kimi No Na Wa, or more popularly known as Your Name is heading to ABS-CBN’s video on demand platform, iWant TV this month.

First released in Japan’s theaters back in August 2016, Makoto Shinkai’s work became a global phenomenon even before its worldwide release for its stunning artwork, and a uniquely compelling story of teen romance. Your Name’s plot revolves around Taki and Mitsuha, 2 young teens whose fates are intertwined by a mysterious force which lets one of them live the life of the other, crossing bodies and paths, and develop an unusual friendship that led to an unusual beginning of romance.

Your Name will be made available on iWant TV this Summer, although it isn’t clarified yet if we’re getting the JP version of the film or if we’re getting the Filipino dub version by ABS-CBN.
