PlayPark Resurrects MU Online in Southeast Asia

PlayPark Inc., in partnership with Webzen, will be launching MU online PC. This medieval fantasy MMORPG is set in the legendary continent of MU. Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand gamers can all play together in either the SEA or Thai servers.

To solidify the partnership between PlayPark and Webzen, a contract signing ceremony was held last July 2019 at Webzen headquarters in Pangyo, South Korea. Representing PlayPark Inc. was Mr. Quach Dong Quang, the Chief Operations Officer.  Mr. Richard Song, Executive Vice President, was in attendance for Webzen.

“We are very excited to launch the official MU service in Southeast Asia. This game is loved by millions of gamers throughout the region who used to play for long hours. Hoping to see them all again,” said LJ “GM WarGod” Peniera, MU Online SEA Product Lead.

Back in its heyday, cyber cafes were filled with MU players building camaraderie and the greatest guilds in Southeast Asia.

PlayPark will be introducing an international tournament that will cater to gamers from the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
