The Hiss beckons fans of supernatural action game Control, from 505 Games and Remedy Entertainment, to enter The Foundation, the first mysterious expansion featuring new story and side missions, abilities and enemies, launching globally for PlayStation 4 and PC on Thursday, March 26 and for Xbox One on Thursday, June 25.

The Foundation expansion will delve into the Oldest House’s history. Jesse is alerted by the Board that a situation has arisen in the Foundation, the bedrock of the Oldest House. A mysterious structure called the Monolith has been damaged, resulting in the Astral Plane leaking into the Foundation. If Jesse does not find a way to stop it, the entire Oldest House, along with the Bureau, will be consumed by this invading dimension.

Players who own the Digital Deluxe version of Control for PlayStation 4 will automatically receive The Foundation expansion when it launches worldwide on March 26. Players who own the PlayStation 4 base game or PC version from the Epic Games Store can purchase a DLC season pass for $24.99, offering access to The Foundation expansion and a second expansion, AWE, coming to Control in late summer 2020. Players may also purchase each expansion a la carte for PlayStation 4 or PC for $14.99 each from their digital storefront of choice.

Control is a sandbox-style, gameplay-driven experience that challenges players to master supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments surrounded by visually stunning effects courtesy of Remedy’s proprietary Northlight engine and meticulously implemented ray tracing from NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX™ technology.

The Foundation expansion for Control PS4 will release in Korea from publishing partner H2

Interactive on Thursday, March 26. Additional release for PS4 will follow in Japan from publishing partner Marvelous in spring 2020, and player who own the Digital Deluxe version of Control for PlayStation 4 will not receive The Foundation Expansion automatically.
