The latest incarnation of the Super Electromagnetic Machine as a figure has surpassed our expectations, and our wallets.

Bandai Spirits has revealed the newest Soul of Chogokin figure of Voltes V, and if you thought we already had enough of it considering it had the recent Full Action version, the package and gimmicks are just so amazing that you want to have your own Voltes V at home.

The new DX Soul of Chogokin Volt in Box Voltes V will feature an updated figure of the legendary super robot, giving more points of articulation and a much beefier look from the older SoC versions. Each of the Volt Machines will feature a removable cockpit capsule and each of the vehicles will have their signature weapons and attacks such as Volt Cruiser’s Crusier Boomerang, Volt Panzer’s Panzer Arm and Volt Lander’s Lander Drill.

When formed as Voltes V, it will have its complete arsenal and effect parts such as the Voltes Bazooka with the launching effect, the Ultra Electromagnetic String (Whip) and Top, Gatling Missle and the famous Tenkyoken (Laser Sword). Other new additions include the V effect after combining and a special display base where you can connect the V effect part or convert it into a Big Falcon launching bay to display the Volt Machines, the display base also features a set of buttons that you can play over 15 sound bytes ranging from calling out special attacks to doing the V formation to transforming as Voltes V. It also has 5 music tracks from the show including the popular opening song.

All of these will be placed in a very nostalgic box package that is based on the designs from vintage 1977 Popy DX Voltes V Volt in Box set.

The DX Soul of Chogokin Volt in Box Voltes V will be available this December for a whopping JPY 64,900, but the price is worth it with all the accessories and gimmicks that you will get from this awesome figure, so be sure to contact your favorite online hobby shops to preorder your own.
