The PlayPark Community Comes Together For The PlayPark Xtreme Paskuhan Donation Drive

The PlayPark Xtreme Paskuhan has been a yearly tradition for the PlayPark community. Gamers from all parts of the Philippines would travel and gather together to celebrate the games they love. The event would serve as their “grand eyeball”, a chance to personally meet and mingle with their guildmates and friends they don’t usually see often.

This tradition has continued virtually last December 2020 as PlayPark held its annual PlayPark Xtreme Paskuhan (PPXP) Christmas party for the gaming community. The online event featured well-known PlayPark games and other segments where viewers got the chance to participate and play with their favorite PlayPark GMs and other personalities.

Included during the livestream was the PPXP Donation Drive, a program launched by PlayPark for the ABS-CBN Foundation’s benefit, to raise donations for Typhoon Ulysses victims. Throughout the program, the gaming community came together to share their blessings to our affected brothers and sisters in the spirit of giving!

Gamers For A Good Cause

While the Paskuhan Donation Drive program only accepted digital cash donations via GCash to ensure the safety of everyone involved, the total reached over Php 300,000 at the end of the program period. Playpark turned over the full amount to the ABS-CBN Foundation for use in their Typhoon Ulysses relief operations.

In exchange for the community’s donations, the various game titles under PlayPark held giveaways and raffles during the PPXP livestream, as well as flash sales and other in-game incentives throughout the Paskuhan Donation Drive.

As a thank-you to everyone who donated to the program, the PlayPark team also hosted a raffle exclusive to donors. Prizes included furniture, appliances, Christmas packages, and more. Congratulations to all the winners.

The PlayPark Saya Continues

With the new normal, PlayPark will be shifting to more online events for their community in 2021. PlayPark All Stars and title-specific minor and major tournaments will continue this year, as part of the company’s commitment to building strong and meaningful bonds with its community. Expect a lot more surprises in the coming months!
