One of the magical things about nature photography is its raw and wild quality. But sometimes retouching photos will make them look clean and professional.

For this, use the cleaning and healing tools. This allows you to remove specks of dirt or color inconsistencies.

You may also want to focus on a certain subject or add it to another photo composition. In this case, you need to know how to remove background from an image. All this will remove any unnecessary distractions from your landscape photos. 

 

Boost the Colors

Colors are a vital part of any nature photography composition. Using a limited color pallet prevents colors from overpowering each other or clashing. 

You can also use the hue, luminance, and saturation tools to boost certain colors and make them stand out. You can select certain points in the image to spot the correct colors. This saves you from having to adjust the whole photo. 

Remember these are natural photos, so if you boost certain colors avoid oversaturation. This can make the image distracting.

If you are editing your photos for branding purposes or a certain theme, you could try using filters. This can save you time, as well as make all your images consistent.
