Founded in 2008, ZOWIE focused on creating professional esports gear. A year later, ZOWIE launched its first mouse—the EC Series, co-developed with Counter-Strike legend HeatoN, laying the groundwork for its mission.
BenQ, a display expert with 35+ years of history, teamed up with ZOWIE in 2010. Together, they created the first gamer-focused LCD monitor, the XL2410, which quickly became a global favorite. In 2015, BenQ and ZOWIE officially merged, combining expertise and passion under BenQ ZOWIE as known today.
