Ratata Arts is excited to announce that Ratatan, the rhythm rogue-lite action game from the creators of Patapon, will launch in Early Access on Steam starting July 25, 2025.
Ahead of the Early Access release, a brand-new Early Access Trailer has been revealed, and starting June 5th, players can try out the free demo version on Steam.
Ratatan is a rhythmic roguelite packed with beat-driven battles and colorful chaos. Recruit allies and dance your way to victory! March across the world of Redo, build your Cobun army, and combine forces with your closest chums to defeat any evildoers silly enough to stand in your way!

Created by Hiroyuki Kotani (Patapon) and developed by Ratata Arts in collaboration with TVT Co., Ltd., the game features 100+ controllable characters, rhythm-driven combat, and a vibrant world of music, monsters, and multiplayer madness. The soundtrack features music by veteran composer Kemmei Adachi, with a special guest track by David Wise.
In August 2023, Ratatan raised over ¥210 million (~USD 1.5M) on Kickstarter, making it the #1 most-funded video game campaign of 2023 and placing in the Top 25 of all time on the platform.
