NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment are very pleased to update the NARAKA: BLADEPOINT community with news regarding the brand-new Fission Season and the celebrations for the game’s 4th Anniversary!

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT producer, Ray Kuan, announced a brand new Extraction Mode, called Rift Traversal, as part of Season 17, during Naraka Fest Direct 2025.

Rift Traversal, centred around the unique melee weapon combat of Naraka: Bladepoint, will be unveiled alongside the 4th anniversary, Fission Season, on July 8.

New Mode – Rift Traversal (Extraction Mode)

In this brand-new gameplay mode, players can experience the thrill of martial arts treasure hunting in the land of Holoroth. Players can rely on luck to find treasures, using their skills and ultimates to fight off enemies and protect their resources, or defeat enemies to loot their treasures, ultimately finding the Aegis Tree for a successful extraction. To provide players with greater freedom in gameplay, 24 Entertainment has introduced new equipment such as the Mole Hook. Additionally, to make battles more exhilarating, the new mode will allow players to forge more high-level weapons with unique effects. Besides the in-game updates, there will also be an entirely new cultivation system outside of matches, featuring equipment crafting, item trading, attribute upgrades, and the creation of personal collection rooms, waiting for you to explore.

New Hero – Inor Wan

Also evident in the anniversary cinematic trailer, a lightning-like figure can be seen traversing different timelines. Yes, this is the next new hero in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT – Inor Wan. Known as “Thunder’s Voice,” he can transform into lightning, moving rapidly across the battlefield, significantly enhancing his evasion abilities, and delivering lightning blade strikes to defeat enemies in the blink of an eye. Be prepared to encounter the new hero, “Thunder’s Voice,” Inor Wan, this season – stay tuned!

New Season Treasure

In the new season, Naraka will also introduce two brand new divine cosmetics: the dual-form extreme outfit of Yoto Hime – Doll Dream, and the extreme skin for the weapon Katana, based on the Tai Chi Yin-Yang Fish – Blade Mystique. The original cosmetic project, “Reversal Flows,” will gradually roll out during the Fission season.

Fourth Anniversary Rewards & Collaborations

As Naraka: Bladepoint enters its fourth year, it relies heavily on the support of its players, so to express our gratitude to this dedicated community, this anniversary sign-in event will allow players to receive the EXTREME weapon skin of the Great sword [Dragon Epoch] for free. Additionally, this season will feature the giveaway of 6 new legendary outfits, ensuring players have plenty to enjoy!

Furthermore, the highly praised collaboration from the 2nd anniversary, Naraka: Bladepoint x NieR, is back and will be officially re-announced during this Naraka Fest Direct 2025, with specific dates to be announced soon. One of the most acclaimed collaborations in Naraka: Bladepoint – the Bruce Lee collaboration – will return on July 9th for its second phase, featuring Akos Hu and Lannie with brand new outfits joining this martial arts showdown.
