NetEase Games is proud to announce that Destiny: Rising, the new free-to-play mobile sci-fi RPG shooter that delivers players to a new, alternate timeline in the Destiny universe, will launch on August 28th on iOS and Android, with the game free to pre-order now on the App Store and Google Play.

Destiny: Rising delivers the iconic looter-shooter gameplay from the Destiny franchise to mobile platforms, featuring missions, strikes, PvP battles, and six-player PvE activities along with a variety of open-world objectives. The game will offer players dynamic and challenging single, co-op, and competitive multiplayer gameplay, including beloved game modes familiar to Destiny players, and all-new modes that introduce new ways to play Destiny.

In Destiny: Rising, you will take on the role of the Wolf, a fully customizable Lightbearer. You can also play as iconic Destiny characters, like Ikora Rey and Iron Lord Jolder, using their unique abilities in battle. Each Lightbearer bears a Relic that grants them unique abilities and Super Abilities, drastically altering their play style. The player can also take a customizable Primary and Power Weapon into battle, with characters able to share compatible weapons across their arsenal, giving them plenty of options for defeating enemies. Destiny: Rising will add a new Mythic-tier rarity for gear, as well as a whole new weapon type, meaning there’s tons of exciting loot to gather for your characters.

In the run-up to launch, Destiny: Rising is holding a pre-registration event where people who register their interest can unlock special bonuses when the game launches. This event unlocks more rewards with each player milestone, with current pre-orders hitting 5 million players! This means that players will receive 10 free draws when Destiny: Rising launches.
