Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce that MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 launches the 7th Anniversary celebration event. A range of special campaigns are to be unveiled, including the introduction of Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai as a playable character.

Thanks to the support of devoted pilots worldwide, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 celebrates its 7th anniversary. To commemorate this achievement, the 7th Anniversary Celebration Campaign is being held today until August 28.

A range of special events are available, including the Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai Guaranteed STEP UP Lottery, a max 80-shot gacha free lottery in which every player is guaranteed to acquire 4 MS with a rarity of at least ★★ every week, a 7th Anniversary Celebration Container present featuring 39 Tokens and a total of 50 available MS, a 7th Anniversary Celebration Login Bonus in which ★★★★ MS such as Unicorn Gundam Lv. 1 and Banshee Lv. 1 can be won, and the New and Returning Pilots Welcome Campaign, in which EXP and DP are boosted to 50 times their usual levels, and CP to 10 times its usual level.

Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai joins the game

As the first new battle suit of the 7th anniversary celebrations, Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai will be introduced to MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 today until August 7, as a ★★★★★ ground/space suit, available at a Cost of 750!

As MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM BATTLE OPERATION 2 reaches its 7th anniversary, the storyline moves from the age of Mobile Suit Gundam F91 into the age of Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam.

Possessing the special skill Max Output (K), Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai can use this to increase its Attack and Speed parameters, boost the upper limit of its high-speed movement velocity, lower thruster usage amount, and change weapon attributes. This skill really comes into its own during melee attacks!

To commemorate the introduction of Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai into the game, we are staging the Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai Guaranteed STEP UP Lottery from 13:00 SGT on Thursday, 31 July 2025!

Crossbone Gundam X1 Kai is guaranteed to be acquired in STEP 7, together with the special upgrade apparatus “Type βLV1”.
