SEGA is thrilled to announce that Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage, an enhanced version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. that features a brand-new single-player mode, will arrive on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam on October 30, 2025. The release date of the Nintendo Switch 2 version will be announced at a later date.

Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is the latest entry to the Virtua Fighter series of 3D fighting games. This new title brings the fight across platforms with crossplay support and uses rollback netcode to offer seamless online gameplay.

Take on the World Stage

In this all-new immersive single-player mode, you’ll travel the globe and compete in a massive tournament. Along the way, you’ll encounter formidable foes, including CPUs based on world-renowned players.

Hone Your Skills Through Training Mode, Replays, and Other Features

The game includes an option to view other players’ replays and practice under customizable conditions in Training Mode.

Become One of The CPU Opponents in World Stage Mode

Players have the chance to become part of the Virtua Fighter world in World Stage mode. If you’d like a CPU character named after you, join the Virtua Fighter Official on Discord and send in your application!

Closed Beta Test Announced

The Closed Beta Test for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam versions of the game will take place in early September 2025. To join the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S tests, you’ll need to sign up using your SEGA Account. SEGA Account users who meet certain requirements are also eligible to receive a unique in-game title.
