Campus Playfest 2025 is set to return bigger and better, taking place on December 7–8, 2025, at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia. Co-presented by SM Mall of Asia, Cyberzone, and SM Online, the event will bring together the best in gaming, tech, cosplay, and community activities for students and young adults in the Philippines.

Cosplay, Esports, and More

A standout feature of the festival will be Dominate: Causeplay Runway, a cosplay competition powered by Official Event Presenter Converge, where participants will compete not only for a ₱40,000 prizepool, but also support the Hound Haven Philippines animal shelter. It’s cosplay for a cause, and fans can expect to see some of the most creative and intricate costumes on display. Interested cosplayers can register here to join the competition.

Campus Playfest’s Official Smartphone Partner, realme, will showcase their new line-up through a Fashion Show and Brand Ambassador Search, headlined by Sharlene San Pedro and DocZ Gaming.

Esports fans can watch the Philippine Collegiate Championship (PCC) Grand Finals for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, where top college teams will compete for the national championship title. Honor of Kings will also hold its Campus Series Finals during the event, with top collegiate players vying for the crown.

For tabletop enthusiasts, Ludus will run learn-to-play sessions for games like Marvel Crisis Protocol, Halo Firefight, Conquest, Flesh and Blood, Deadzone, and Magic: The Gathering. There will also be exciting community activities, including a Just Dance PH competition, the Campus Quad Fight Tekken 8 tournament, a Beyblade X tournament, and FlipSpin Yoyo Komunidad’s Throwdown Volume 4.

Join the Playpeeps and Other Creators at Campus Playfest 2025

One of the goals of Campus Playfest is to become the springboard for content, particularly episodic, fun content featuring content creators and talents from all across the Philippine digital landscape. Kickstarting this initiative is Playground Wars, a three-episode series featuring the Playpeeps: Buunja, Erin Cordovez, Humay, Ajax, Eivan, and Pomponmy. From keeping quiet during hilarious classroom encounters to opening up on their goals and aspirations, the Playpeeps keep things fun and fresh!

Get a chance to meet and greet the Playpeeps, as well as content creators under the XLNZ Uprising banner, during Campus Playfest 2025! They will be hanging out at the different booths, and will be giving away surprise prizes to lucky attendees who complete the CCEPlay quests, so keep an eye out for them on both days.

New Digital Experience with CCEPlay

This year, Campus Playfest introduces CCEPlay, a gamified engagement platform that connects, rewards, and activates communities through digital quests, surveys, playtests, news, and rewards—online and offline. Attendees can sign up, scan QR codes at various booths, and complete their digital passport for a chance to win prizes in Campus Play-migay raffles.

“All our efforts over the past few years – from working with other events, brands, and schools – lead to one mission: to unify and engage gamers and communities through play.” said Benson Te, Co-founder and CEO of WP/Gaming, the team behind Campus Playfest. “Play is at the heart of what we do, and CCEPlay, being the community brand of WP/Gaming, is positioned as the platform for driving education and hands-on experiences in gaming and technology. We’re only in the first phase of our milestones, and we’ll be launching what’s coming next in 2026.”

CCEPlay is the technology that enables an upgraded booth activity experience not just for Campus Playfest 2025 activities, but for any brand that wishes to gamify interaction and overall experiences for their customers.
