Video game publisher and developer Cygames, in conjunction with video game development studio CyDesignation,have announced the development of a Steam version of the beloved online RPG
Granblue Fantasy. Service is set to launch on March 10, 2026, coinciding with the game’s twelfth anniversary.
Players residing outside of Japan will be able to begin Granblue Fantasy using their Steam accounts.
Steam version players will also experience Granblue through a rearranged layout designed for a 16:9 aspect ratio, rather than the original vertical orientation found in the Mobage, GREE, DMM, or Yahoo! versions. Players in certain regions, including Japan, will not be able to use this service. Players will not be able to play the Steam® version with existing Mobage, GREE, DMM, or Yahoo! accounts, nor will they be able to link data between new Steam version accounts and these accounts. The Steam® version supports only Japanese and English.
Granblue Fantasy is a classic mobile RPG released originally in 2014 for the Japanese market, currently accessible through the App Store, Google Play, AndApp, and most common web browsers.
